I love this smoothie! I typically avoid snacking, but there are some days when I’ve really kicked up my work-out the night before and breakfast just doesn’t cut it! Having a refreshing smoothie tides me over until lunch so I don’t grab foods that don’t support my health goals. Time saving tip -before any uneaten fresh pre-washed kale goes bad, store in the freezer. Then you’ll have it for smoothies any time!
- 3 large leaves of kale with stem
- 1 large Fuji apple
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2/3 cup of water
- Simply blend everything together and enjoy!
